If "High School Musical" ever gets a remake, Anthony Edwards wants a call.

The Minnesota Timberwolves guard, who's playing in his second NBA All-Star Game, spoke about his love of the 2006 musical film Saturday when asked to name the most ridiculous basketball scene he's ever seen in a movie or television show.

"I like 'High School Musical' for some reason. Troy Bolton," Edwards said, referring to Zac Efron's character. "I like the scenes. They put it together, it was pretty dope. Pretty dope. I like that movie."

When asked if he'd star in a "High School Musical" remake, Edwards replied, "I would. I actually would, for sure."

Edwards has appeared on the big screen before, portraying the antagonist Kermit Wilts in Adam Sandler's 2022 basketball drama "Hustle."

The 22-year-old is averaging 26.3 points, 5.2 rebounds, 5.3 assists, and 1.2 steals per game this season while helping to lead the Timberwolves to the best record in the Western Conference at 39-16.
