Kyrie Irving is set to release his first signature shoe since parting ways with Nike.

The Dallas Mavericks star and Chinese sportswear brand ANTA shared the first look at the ANTA Kai 1, which will be available for purchase beginning March 6.

The sneaker's design is meant to look aerodynamic and pulls inspiration from elements of Irving's game as well as his Native American heritage.

"As Chief Creative Officer and a player, I've woven the essence of my heritage and my heart for basketball into the design of ANTA KAI 1," Irving said in a statement. "This is more than a shoe; it embodies our ancestors' strength and the future we're building. Every detail, from the hieroglyphics to the aerodynamic shape, tells the story of where we've been and where we're going. Join me in stepping into this new chapter."

Irving signed a five-year endorsement deal with ANTA in July 2023. He also assumed the role of Chief Creative Officer, allowing him to recruit other players and help the company grow in the United States.

The 31-year-old was under contract with Nike from 2011-2022, but the partnership was terminated after he shared a link to a film with antisemitic tropes on X.
