Gardner Minshew appears to have buried the hatchet with new Las Vegas Raiders teammate Maxx Crosby after the two exchanged words last season.

At his introductory press conference on Thursday, Minshew told reporters that he's looking forward to playing alongside Crosby, whom he considers one of the best trash talkers in the NFL.

"Sure enough, I saw him," the quarterback said. "He's a big ass boy, is what he is. God dang. But no, man, it was awesome. Those are guys, you know, not as much fun to play against, but if they're on your team, I absolutely love it, man.

"Excited to be with him, Christian (Wilkins), some of the best shit talkers I've been around in the NFL. To have him on our side, to practice against them every day, it's just gonna make me better. I'm super excited about it."

Minshew was on the receiving end of Crosby's trash talk during a Week 17 game between the Raiders and Indianapolis Colts, with the defensive end repeatedly calling him a "little ass boy."

Minshew agreed to terms with the Raiders on a two-year, $25-million contract earlier this week. He's expected to compete with Aidan O'Connell for the starting quarterback job.

The 27-year-old appeared in 17 games - including 13 starts - with the Colts last season, completing 62.2% of his passes for 3,305 yards with 15 touchdowns and nine interceptions.
