Spain coach Luis de la Fuente called up Chelsea defender Marc Cucurella on Sunday for upcoming friendlies against Colombia and Brazil after Jose Gaya dropped out injured.

Valencia left-back Gaya was taken off hurt during his team's 1-0 La Liga defeat to Villarreal on Sunday, while Cucurella scored for Chelsea in a 4-2 win over Leicester in the FA Cup.

Spain play Colombia in London on March 22 and Brazil four days later at Madrid's Santiago Bernabeu stadium.
