After Chicago Sky rookie Angel Reese was tossed from her team's 88-75 loss to the New York Liberty, a fellow Chicago hooper felt compelled to pay her fine.

Injured Chicago Bulls point guard Lonzo Ball was in attendance for his first-ever live WNBA game and didn't agree with the pair of technical foul calls that got Reese ejected.

Reese got called for both T's in a matter of seconds after picking up her fifth foul in the fourth quarter of Tuesday's contest.

After the game, crew chief Maj Forsberg said that following the foul, Reese "disrespectfully addresses" the referee, and received the second technical after she "waves off the calling official in resentment," according to the Chicago Tribune's Julia Poe.

The WNBA rescinded Reese's second technical foul on Wednesday, a league spokesperson told The Sun Times' Annie Costabile.

The Sky led the Liberty 66-65 entering the fourth quarter, but a late meltdown, highlighted by Reese's ejection, saw them drop their second straight game.

For her part, Reese put up her second career double-double and tied her career-high in scoring with 13 points and 10 rebounds, though she shot just 3-of-12 from the field.
