Pierre Gasly: Points in Spain

Gasly finished ninth in the Spanish Grand Prix F1 race at Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya on Sunday.

Analysis:

The Alpine veteran would continue to see improved pace and a better car than at the start of the season. For the third-straight grand prix Gasly would earn points after a good mid-pack battle in Barcelona. A slow opening pit stop would hamper the veteran driver, but Gasly would rebound from P13 and soon back up into the points. Down the stretch he would lose a spot to a surging Sergio Perez, but Gasly would still come home with a respectable ninth-place in the Spanish GP.
