Former NBA G League Ignite forward Matas Buzelis says he believes fellow prospect Zaccharie Risacher is no match for him in a game of one-on-one.

Buzelis, who challenged Risacher to a one-on-one showdown in March, gave an update Tuesday on whether his offer still stands and if he thinks the Frenchman is ducking him.

"I think everybody got it twisted once I said it," Buzelis said in an interview with Stadium's Shams Charania. "I respect Zach as a player, of course. He's a great player. He just doesn't wanna see me like that. I'm just gonna keep it real with everybody. He doesn't wanna see me, and I'm gonna stand on that. The offer still stands, for sure, and I'm waiting on a response."

Risacher is widely projected to be a top-two pick in the 2024 NBA Draft, while Buzelis is a potential top-five selection.

"I view myself No. 1, for sure," Buzelis told Charania. "I know the work I put in. I know that this draft's wide open, and everyone's trying to compete for it. That's really why I started that thing, challenging (Risacher), 'cause why not? Let's start some competition, let's try to get our hands dirty."

The draft kicks off Wednesday night at Barclays Center in Brooklyn. The Atlanta Hawks hold the No. 1 overall pick, with the Washington Wizards, Houston Rockets, San Antonio Spurs, and Detroit Pistons rounding out the top five.
