Daniel Ricciardo: Points Day in Austria

Ricciardo finished ninth in the Austrian Grand Prix F1 race at the Red Bull Ring in Spielberg on Sunday afternoon.

Analysis:

The Team RB veteran would start 11th on the grid after a decent qualifying effort Saturday at the Red Bull Ring. Ricciardo would be among the first to stop for fresh tyres on lap 10. The team would bolt on hard tyres and Ricciardo would settle in for a big second stint. He would race up to P10 before his second and final pit stop of the day. Afterward Ricciardo would battle in the mid-pack hotly with both Kevin Magnussen and Pierre Gasly to come home an respectable ninth-place and collect 2 points.
