Fever jersey sales up 1,193%, attendance up 265% since drafting Clark
Caitlin Clark's arrival in Indiana is paying off big time for the Fever.
In a report published Wednesday by the Fever, the team revealed that they've experienced a 1,193% increase in jersey sales, a 264.6% increase in ticket sales, and a 225% increase in partnerships so far this season.
The Fever also reported a 750% increase in draft beer sold at games and the addition of more than 1.3-million followers across their social media platforms since mid-April, when they selected Clark with the No. 1 overall pick of the WNBA draft.
"This is a historic moment, an inflection point for women's basketball, and there's nothing more fitting than Indiana being at the center of it all," CEO Mel Raines said in a statement. "Over several seasons, we have built a young, talented roster that fans are excited to support, and this is momentum that we will build off for years to come."
The Fever currently sit third in the Eastern Conference and seventh in the league standings with an 11-15 record.
Clark has started all 26 of the Fever's games this season and is averaging 17.1 points, 8.2 assists, and 5.8 rebounds per contest.
