Report: Raiders' Adams week-to-week with hamstring injury
Las Vegas Raiders wide receiver Davante Adams is listed as week-to-week because of the hamstring injury he suffered during Thursday's practice, sources told Adam Schefter of ESPN.
Adams has already been ruled out for Sunday's contest against the Cleveland Browns, and this could turn into a multi-week absence, Schefter adds.
Las Vegas will also be without tight end Michael Mayer (personal), and star edge rusher Maxx Crosby is listed as doubtful and unlikely to play due to an ankle injury.
"Collectively, nobody needs to be Davante Adams," head coach Antonio Pierce said Friday. "I don't need another Davante. There's only one, right? I just need the best version of Jakobi Meyers."
Las Vegas heads into Sunday's action with a 1-2 record. After some uncertainty about who would start under center in Week 4, Pierce told reporters Monday that the club would stick with Gardner Minshew.
Adams has played in every game with the Raiders since he was acquired ahead of the 2022 campaign. The Fresno State product has 18 catches for 209 yards and one touchdown this season.
