Los Angeles Lakers big man Anthony Davis is eager to see new teammate Bronny James show up dad LeBron James now that they're sharing the court.

When asked Monday at Lakers media day if the team wants to see Bronny dunk on LeBron, Davis said the younger James has no choice but to.

"For sure, he has to. He has to," Davis told Spectrum SportsNet. "And we got cameras all around here, so we gonna catch it."

Davis also spoke about his excitement over the Lakers selecting Bronny in the second round of the 2024 NBA Draft.

"I know it was a great experience for them, a great moment for them when they heard his name called to the Lakers," Davis said. "And instantly, it was a great moment for me just being around the family so much that I've been.

"Called (LeBron), and he answered, 'Oh what's up AD?' I'm like, 'I don't wanna talk to you, I wanna talk to my new teammate. It's over for you now, you getting old, man. I'm gonna talk to Bronny.'"

The Lakers will play their first preseason game Friday against the Minnesota Timberwolves.
