For all those interested in getting a better grasp of the geographical distribution of NBA franchises, Reddit user "cs_irl" has created this beautiful map that shows the location of all 30 teams while organizing them by division.

The one thing that really stands out is just how spread out teams of the Northwest Division are. The distance between Minnesota and Portland, for example, is 2,602.2 km.
