Nikola Jokic's tradition of tying his wedding ring to his sneakers during games is no more.
The Denver Nuggets star revealed Monday at the launch of his first signature shoe with 361 Degrees, the Joker 1, that he stopped wearing the ring on his shoes after losing it twice.
Jokic and his wife, Natalija, married on Oct. 24, 2020, and have two children together.
"I have (the) wedding ring on my shoe just because it's family - something that's just really important to me," Jokic explained in a video the NBA posted last year. "They always by my side, so I just want to give them the love."
The 29-year-old is off to a strong start this season, averaging 29.6 points, 13.2 rebounds, and 10.7 assists - all career highs - through 15 games.
