LeBron takes jab at NFL: 'Christmas is our day'
Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James took aim at the NFL's schedule-makers Wednesday immediately following an epic Christmas Day bout against the Golden State Warriors.
"I love the NFL, but Christmas is our day," James said after the Lakers eked out a narrow 115-113 win in San Francisco in an instant classic that saw the future Hall of Famer drop 31 points.

Wednesday was the fourth consecutive year the NFL scheduled at least two games on Christmas Day, with the Kansas City Chiefs trouncing the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Baltimore Ravens dominating the Houston Texans.
Meanwhile, scheduling games on Christmas Day has been an NBA tradition since the league's second season in 1947. Wednesday marked the Lakers' 51st game on Dec. 25.
Lakers-Warriors was part of a five-game slate Wednesday in the Association. The first four games were decided by two possessions or fewer, with the Phoenix Suns' 110-100 win over the Denver Nuggets being the most decisive of the day.
