New York Jets wide receiver Davante Adams hopes to celebrate another milestone with longtime teammate Aaron Rodgers before the season comes to an end.

While Adams caught Rodgers' 200th and 400th career touchdown passes while with the Green Bay Packers, he told reporters Friday that he wants to connect with the Jets quarterback on No. 500 as well.

"Obviously, I would love that. I got 200, I got 400, so it would be dope to get 500 as well," Adams said, per SportsNet New York. "I think his 200th was my first (touchdown), so we got some special connections in the past.

"It'd be great, and obviously it'd be a big thing for him. Not that he needs more accolades and more milestones, but I mean, might as well keep racking them up when you can."

Rodgers is currently at 499 career touchdown passes and will have a chance to join the 500 club Sunday when the Jets face the Buffalo Bills. He threw two touchdowns the last time the teams met in Week 6.

To date, only four NFL quarterbacks have thrown 500-plus touchdowns in their career. Tom Brady holds the record with 649, followed by Drew Brees (571), Peyton Manning (539), and Brett Favre (508).
