Bills fans donate over $35K to Andrews charity

Bills fans are showing support for Ravens tight end Mark Andrews after the veteran dropped the tying two-point conversion late in Baltimore's divisional-round loss to Buffalo on Sunday.

In the wake of Andrews' tough game, a Bills fan created a GoFundMe that has accepted over $35,000 in donations to Breakthrough T1D, a nonprofit that funds research to find a cure for Type 1 diabetes and helps people living with the autoimmune disease. Andrews has Type 1 diabetes and has been a spokesperson for those living with it.

The generated money is well over the fundraiser's initial $10,000 goal.

Andrews has received online backlash for his costly dropped pass and a fumble midway through the fourth quarter that led to a Bills field goal.

The 29-year-old has been with the Ravens since being drafted in the third round in 2018. Andrews has 436 catches for 5,530 yards and 51 touchdowns in 104 career regular-season games.
