Grant Hill wants KD, Booker on Team USA for 2028 Olympics
USA Basketball executive director Grant Hill has begun recruiting NBA players for the 2028 Olympics in Los Angeles.
While presenting Kevin Durant and Devin Booker with commemorative rings Monday for their gold-medal win at the 2024 Paris Games, Hill was heard telling the Phoenix Suns stars, "Make sure you guys answer your phone in four years."
The 36-year-old Durant has represented the United States at each of the last four Summer Olympics and ranks as Team USA's all-time leading Olympic scorer with 518 total points. He's also the first men's basketball player in Olympic history to win four gold medals.
Booker, 28, was part of Team USA's 2020 and 2024 Olympic squads. Head coach Steve Kerr declared him the "unsung MVP" of the team's most recent gold-medal run.
