Draymond Green's guarantee that the Golden State Warriors will win an NBA championship this season received the seal of approval from one member of the team's front office.

Warriors general manager Mike Dunleavy backed Green's bold statement Wednesday during an appearance on NBC Sports Bay Area's "Dubs Talk," but he said the pressure is on the veteran forward to make it happen.

"I'm not on Twitter, but my phone was blowing up. People were passing tweets along to me, and I got the news, I got the message," Dunleavy told hosts Bonta Hill and Monte Poole. "Look, I think it's great. I think Draymond, to have that confidence in our group, is great and that's what we want from the players, especially a player like that who gives so much every night.

"So I'm good with it. Now it's on him to live up to it."

Green made the guarantee while serving as a TNT panelist at NBA All-Star Weekend in early February, saying Golden State's recent acquisition of Jimmy Butler from the Miami Heat has given the team a newfound confidence.

The Warriors have won eight of their last 10 games and sit sixth in the Western Conference at 34-28.
