Kentucky Derby winner Sovereignty returns to the track Saturday for the Belmont Stakes, the final leg of this year's Triple Crown.

Sovereignty skipped the Preakness Stakes, opening the door for Kentucky Derby runner-up Journalism to claim the second leg. Now, both horses will race in Saratoga Springs, New York, to determine which horse had the better season.

Journalism is the narrow +160 favorite to win the eight-horse Belmont Stakes, slightly ahead of Sovereignty (+200).

Horse Odds
Journalism +160
Sovereignty +200
Baeza +400
Rodriguez +600
Hill Road +1000
Crudo +1500
Heart of Honor +3000
Uncaged +3000

Belmont Park on Long Island usually hosts the race but is undergoing a renovation project. The race at Saratoga Springs will be 1.25-miles (10 furlongs and the same length as the Kentucky Derby) as opposed to Belmont Park's 1.5 miles (12 furlongs).

Journalism has won five of his last six races, while Sovereignty has claimed three of his previous four.

Baeza is the third favorite at +400. He came third in the Kentucky Derby as a late entry following the scratch of Rodriguez, who hasn't raced since early April but is in the Belmont field at +600.

The post time for Saturday's race is approximately 7:04 p.m. ET.
