Tyrrell Hatton: Surges to T3 at The Masters
Hatton fired a six-under 66 during the final round of The Masters to finish in a four-way tie for third.
Analysis:
It was an up-and-down outing at Augusta National for Hatton, who finished with a 74-66-72-66 scorecard. He showed his best stuff Sunday, when he went three-under par on both the front and back nines and surged 12 spots up the leaderboard thanks to four-straight birdies from holes 13 to 16. It was Hatton's best finish at The Masters in his career and guarantees his spot at Augusta in 2027. He'll have two outings on the LIV Golf tour -- starting in Mexico next week -- before we see Hatton on the major circuit again at the PGA Championship at Aronimink Golf Club on May 14. The last time the Englishman teed off at Aronimink was in 2018 at the BMW Championship, when he finished 29th with a 10-under cumulative score.
