Jake Knapp: Earns Masters spot for 2027
Knapp posted a seven-under cumulative score at The Masters to finish solo 11th.
Analysis:
Knapp had a slow start to the tournament with a one-over 73 score Thursday, but he proceeded to go two-under par or better in each of the next three rounds. He carded a two-under 70 score Sunday, which was enough for him to move into the top-12 and guarantee his spot at Augusta National in 2027. Knapp led the field in SG: Off-the-Tee (including second in driving distance and 20th in driving accuracy), and he also ranked in the top-20 in SG: Putting and SG: Tee-to-Green. Knapp has finished T11 or better in seven of eight tournaments in 2026 and is projected to sit in 11th in the FedExCup Standings. He will look to continue his strong season next week at the RBC Heritage, where he finished T62 in his lone appearance at Harbour Town in 2024.
