Hovland fired a five-under 67 during the final round of The Masters to finish tied with Maverick McNealy and Matt Fitzpatrick for 18th.
Analysis:
Hovland saved his best round at Augusta National for last, when he eight birdies (including three straight from holes seven to nine), one bogey and a double bogey on the par-5 15th. He ranked ninth in the field in SG: Approach, 10th in GIR and in the top-20 in both driving accuracy and SG: Tee-to-Green. Hovland has four top-20 finishes through seven tournaments this season, three of which have come over his last four outings (including T13s at both the API and THE PLAYERS). He's in the field for next week's RBC Heritage, where he finished T13 in 2025.
