Jordan Spieth: Fades after strong start

Spieth carded a two-under 70 on Sunday at the Cadillac Championship to finish tied for 18th place.

Analysis:

Spieth got off to a fast start with a seven-under 65 in the opening round to trail by one, but he failed to post another round in the 60s and fell down the leaderboard by shooting one-over on the weekend. He stood out statistically by ranking T11 in SG: Off-the-tee, and the veteran has now posted five top-20s across his last eight starts. Spieth will tee-it-up at next week's Truist Championship, but he's yet to record a top-25 over five appearances at Quail Hollow.
