Schaper finished the tournament with an eight-under cumulative score and went six-under over the final two rounds. He ranked fourth in the field in SG: Off-the-Tee, eighth in SG: Off-the-Tee and 18th in SG: Approach, though he was one of the worst in the event on the green (128th in SG: Putting). Schaper has been one of the best players on the DP World Tour this season, having won back-to-back tournaments in December to sit third in the Race to Dubai Rankings. He's in the field for the PGA Championship next week.
