Del Rey posted a four-under 68 in the final round of the Cantalunya Championship on the DP World Tour to finish tied with JC Ritchie and Oihan Guillamoundeguy for third.
Analysis:
Del Rey finished with a 13-under cumulative score and did most of his work over the weekend, carding 10 birdies and two bogeys over the final 36 holes. He ranked second in the field in SG: Around-the-Green, fifth in scrambling, 14th in SG: Tee-to-Green and 21st in SG: Putting. It was the first top-5 finish of the season for Del Rey, and all three of his top-15 finishes have come over his last five outings on the DP World Tour, dating back to late February in South Africa.
