Hoey fired a three-under 68 on Sunday at THE CJ CUP Byron Nelson to finish 15-under and tied for 19th.
Analysis:
Hoey gained a season-high 4.19 strokes putting throughout his week at TPC Craig Ranch, but he also lost a career-worst 5.38 strokes on approach while hitting just 50 of 72 greens in regulation. Nonetheless, he tallied 19 total birdies and converted 19 of 22 scrambling opportunities in McKinney, ranking third among the Byron Nelson field in driving accuracy as well. He'll tee it up next at Colonial Country Club where he tied for 66th in his Charles Schwab Challenge debut last year.
