Brabenec signed a two-year contract with HC Kometa Brno of Czechia's Extraliga, according to Honza Zoufal of Elite Prospects on Wednesday.
Analysis:
Brabenec, a fourth-round pick of Vegas in the 2021 NHL Entry Draft, couldn't crack the NHL roster over the past three seasons while playing for AHL Henderson. The Golden Knights can retain his rights by giving him a qualifying offer, but it doesn't seem as though he will be playing in North America any time soon. His contract with HC Kometa Brno has an option for a third year.
