Haaland carried Norway to the World Cup and will now have the weight of a nation on his back as he tries to lead them through the group stage. The striker will be used as the main piece in the attack for the club and will be the focal point for numerous opposing defences, bringing a little concern to his chances at scoring. However, with a few other top attackers around him, along with a world-class playmaker in Martin Odegaard in the midfield, his chances of finding good opportunities remain high. After 35 goals between UCL and league play with Manchester City, he seems bound to at least score a couple for Norway in the group stage, a likely need if they want to advance in the tournament.
