The Mets recalled Duarte from Triple-A Syracuse on Tuesday.
Analysis:Duarte logged five scoreless innings covering three relief outings earlier this season for the Mets. He's been less effective at Syracuse with a 4.75 ERA and 30:17 K:BB over 30.1 frames, but the 29-year-old will provide the Mets with a rested bullpen arm.
