Kamara (knee) is out for Tuesday's friendly against Walsall.
Analysis:Kamara has returned to Villa for pre-season testing, but will miss out on friendly play as they start the pre-season, still not fit enough to play. This comes as no surprise after knee surgery has left him out since January, not wanting to risk an early return after the long road of recovery. A return should still be coming soon, and he is more than likely to be fit for the start of the campaign if no setbacks occur. He will then need to hold his starting minutes and fend off new signings Joao Gomes and Johan Manzambi as they search for time on the field.
