The Giants recalled Beck from Triple-A Sacramento on Tuesday, Evan Webeck of the California Post reports.
Analysis:In a corresponding move, the Giants placed Trevor McDonald on the 15-day IL Tuesday due to an elbow strain. Beck made five appearances with Sacramento after being optioned June 24. Across those appearances, he gave up four earned runs on seven hits, two homers and five walks across 8.2 innings.
