Foden signed a new four year contract with Manchester City through 2030, the club announced.
Analysis:Foden has won 20 major honors with City since making his first team debut under manager Pep Guardiola in 2017, including six Premier League titles and a Champions League, and became just the sixth player to reach 100 Premier League goal contributions for the club in May. The 26-year-old previously swept individual honors in 2023-24, winning the PFA Player of the Year, FWA Footballer of the Year and Premier League Player of the Season after scoring 19 league goals that campaign. Foden is expected to remain a central figure in City's midfield under new coach Enzo Maresca as the club looks to build toward further success.
