Day (back) will withdraw from the 3M Open, the PGA Tour announced.
Analysis:Day has battled a back injury previously this summer, one that forced him to withdraw from the U.S. Open back in June as well. Now, it's reared his ugly head once again and he'll pull out of the 3M Open. Charley Hoffman is now in the field.
