Macia has extended his contract with Villarreal through June 2031, a two-year extension from his previous deal that ran to 2029, the club announced.
Analysis:Macia is a 17-year-old midfielder regarded as one of the top prospects in Villarreal's academy and is currently training with the first team in preseason. He spent last season with Villarreal B in Primera Federacion under David Albelda, making 25 appearances, and also made his senior debut on December 6, 2025, coming off the bench in a 2-0 La Liga win over Getafe. He went on to make five first-team appearances across all competitions, including one in the Copa del Rey. He is also a Spain youth international, having represented the U19s.
