Analysis:The rookie catcher made things interesting by taking AJ Blubaugh deep in the seventh inning with the Marlins down 5-1, but they couldn't creep any closer. Mack has gone yard in back-to-back games, giving him nine homers on the year, but he hasn't produced a multi-hit effort since July 4 and is batting just .179 (5-for-28) over his last 11 contests with a 3.2 percent walk rate against a 35.5 percent strikeout rate.
