Analysis:Rays manager Kevin Cash dropped Simpson to sixth in the order Tuesday, but the speedy outfielder will jump back up to fifth after he banged out a season-high four hits in Tampa Bay's 12-2 win. Simpson has been on fire coming out of the All-Star break, going 9-for-19 with two doubles, one walk, two stolen bases, three runs and one RBI through five contests.
