The Blue Jays recalled Schneider from Triple-A Buffalo on Thursday.
Analysis:Schneider has slashed a disappointing .153/.282/.296 in the majors this season but has been swinging a hot bat at Buffalo with a 1.128 OPS and five home runs in July. He should see some starts against left-handed pitching.
