Battle (back) is expected to make his preseason debut Thursday against the Knicks, Michael Grange of Sportsnet.ca reports.
Analysis:Battle has yet to suit up this preseason while dealing with a back issue, but he appears to be nearing a return. Thursday's contest should give the Raptors an opportunity to evaluate the forward before the regular season, though it's unclear whether he'll face any minutes restrictions in his first appearance.
