Fland (illness/head) is expected to play against Miami in the Gators' opener, per Adam Dubbin of USA Today.
Analysis:"I would expect him to be out there Monday," Florida head coach Todd Golden said. Fland is reportedly still battling "headache stuff," as Golden said, but the guard should be ready to roll for the in-state showdown with the Hurricanes. Fland averaged 11.6 points, 2.5 rebounds, 3.5 assists and 1.7 steals last season. The guard isn't officially cleared to play, but he's clearly trending in that direction.
