Smith (undisclosed) did not play in Saturday's 30-10 victory against UAB.
Analysis:Smith was questionable ahead of Saturday's contest and ended up sidelined, missing his third game of the season. It remains unclear what issue the wideout is facing, but it was significant enough to keep him out. He is still aiming to record his first reception of the campaign, and his next opportunity to do so arrives against East Carolina on Friday.
