Stanback had 15 points (6-7 FG, 3-4 FT), 16 rebounds, four assists, one block and two steals over 20 minutes during Wednesday's 132-53 victory over West Coast Baptist.
Analysis:Stanback had a huge line in the blowout win. The Alabama State transfer has the type of athleticism that can pop, especially against undermanned competition. Stanback is the reigning SWAC Defensive Player of the Year. It is a great start for the 6-8 junior, but opportunities might not be as easy against Butler on Sunday.
