Maguire is available for Sunday's Premier League clash against Aston Villa after being omitted from Manchester United's latest injury report, despite showing signs of discomfort during Tuesday's Champions League victory over Roma, according to the club.
Analysis:Maguire's absence from the injury report is an encouraging development after he appeared to be limping following his late substitution during the 3-2 win against Roma. The experienced center-back was replaced by Matthijs De Ligt, raising concerns about a potential muscular problem, although no specific injury was subsequently confirmed. His omission from the latest medical update confirms that the discomfort is unlikely to prevent him from featuring against Aston Villa, but it does not necessarily guarantee his inclusion in the starting lineup. Maguire remains part of United's central defensive rotation, competing with De Ligt, Leny Yoro and Ayden Heaven for playing time.
