Luiz scored one goal to go with seven shots (three on goal), one cross (zero accurate) and one chance created in Saturday's 1-0 win versus San Diego FC.
Analysis:Luiz broke the longest goal drought of his 2026 season thus far, a span that lasted five games crammed into less than three weeks. But, including the regular-season finale Saturday, he was not too bad across the six-game span thanks to three G/A. Overall, though limited, Luiz had a fantastic 2026. In 13 games (12 starts), he logged eight goals on 48 shots, 21 on target. Luiz also recordeed three assists on 17 crosses (two accurate), 10 chances created and seven corners. Overall, he collected 11 G/A across his 13 appearances, a fantastic rate of goal contributions for a newcomer like him. The question is whether Luiz will have the opportunity to replicate that production over a full season in 2027.
