Analysis:

Unlike the initial procedure he had to repair the sports hernia surgery back in December, this operation appears to be just cosmetic and shouldn't delay Weiss' timetable much further. Weiss is expected to be back to full health by the time training camp starts. He'll have a lot to prove after playing just 43 games the last two seasons, and not playing very effectively when healthy at that.
