Overview
Joshua Ho-Sang has the skill level of a top-10 draft pick, although his slight frame (he's listed at 165 pounds) and reputation for inconsistency on the defensive side of the puck may result in him falling out of the first round.
In terms of his offensive profile, however, Ho-Sang has super elite skills. A high-end skater with the skill level to execute at top-speed, Ho-Sang was second among all draft eligible CHL skaters in even-strength assists (behind only probable No. 2 overall pick Sam Reinhart).
In terms of even-strength goals Ho-Sang was in the top-ten among first time draft eligible CHL skaters, and he finished in the top-10 in total assist per game rate too. There aren't many players with that sort of demonstrated ability to produce that won't hear their name called among the first 30 names at the 2014 NHL Entry Draft.

Scouts are saying
"Josh continues to grow as a player. He has excellent hands, the capability to make plays in tight and is very difficult to get the puck from. He can make it easy for his line-mates and is a dynamic player." - TSN's Craig Button
"[Ho-Sang] one of the best skaters in the draft; his first few steps and overall stride are high end, and his top speed is elite. Ho-Sang is also a high-end if not better puck handler. This combination allows him to be a dynamic player who can create scoring chances out of nothing. However, Ho-Sang can struggle at times with his decision making with the puck, frequently turning it over or trying to do too much." - ESPN Insider's Corey Pronman
"Handles the puck extremely well at absolute top gear, and is able to make plays with it... Plays at a high tempo and is always pushing the pace. As well as breakaway speed, he also has outstanding lateral agility to beat defenders off the rush. Extremely quick stick." - Red Line Report
