Add another name into the never-ending list of Cleveland Cavaliers head coaching candidates.

According to The Associated Press, the Cavaliers intend to interview ex-player Mark Price regarding their head coaching vacancy. The interview will take place Tuesday.

Price, a former point guard, spent the first nine years of his career with the Cavaliers. The sharpshooting guard averaged 16.4 points, 2.6 rebound and 7.2 assists per game during that time. He also made four All-Star appearances.

He spent last season as an assistant coach with the Charlotte Bobcats, and served as a shooting coach for the Boston Celtics, Memphis Grizzlies, Golden State Warriors and Atlanta Hawks in seasons prior.

Price has no prior experience as an NBA head coach, thus continuing a recent trend in the league. On Monday, it was announced that Derek Fisher agreed to become the head coach of the New York Knicks. In May, Steve Kerr, another inexperienced coach, was hired by the Golden State Warriors.
