PHOTO: Turkish stadium is shaped like a crocodile; becomes best stadium ever
There will be a stadium in Turkey shaped like a crocodile.
Yup. A crocodile.
But for good reason. The team that will call it home, Bursaspor, are nicknamed after the ferocious aquatic reptiles.
Here's a look at what their new 45,000-seat Timsah Arena will look like when it's revealed to the world later this year:

Just imagine if every team designed its stadium after their nicknames. It's likely few will be as cool as the Bursaspor cathedral.
A few examples of why such an idea might not work at other European clubs:
Sunderland - Black Cats
Reading - Biscuitmen
Hartlepool United - Monkey Hangers*
Atletico Madrid - Mattress Makers
Malaga - The Anchovies
Cesena - The Seashorses
Chievo - Flying Donkeys
*Hartlepool supposedly got the nickname when citizens in the town executed a monkey by hanging, as they believed it was a French spy during the Napoleonic wars. Seriously.
