The top three horses from the Kentucky Derby are the three odds-on favorites to cross the finish line first at the Preakness Stakes, the second leg of horse racing's Triple Crown.
Derby winner American Pharoah drew the 1 post on the inside and was named the morning line favorite, getting 4-5 odds. With only an eight-horse field compared to the 20 in Kentucky, there will be a lot more room for American Pharoah to pick up speed as it races towards the Triple Crown.
Lining up beside American Pharoah is fellow Bob Baffert-trained horse Dortmund, who finished third at Churchill Downs. Dortmund's morning line is 7-2. Firing Line, who finished second at the Kentucky Derby, will start on the outside post with the third-best odds at 4-1.
