Narrowing down the Champions League's top five goals is bound to rub some people the wrong way following a season that featured a plethora of golazos.

Whether it was during the group or knockout stage of the tournament, there's certainly no shortage of screamers to choose from.

Here's the top five goals from another thrilling edition of the world's most famous club tournament:

5. Carlos Teves vs. Borussia Dortmund

Carlos Tevez all but sealed a spot in the quarter-finals when he opened the scoring in the second leg of Juventus's clash with Borussia Dortmund.

Less than five minutes into the match, Tevez added to Juve's aggregate advantage when he thumped an unstoppable goal into the top corner of the Dortmund net, stunning the visitors and propelling the Italian champs into the next knockout round.

4. Ivan Rakitic vs. Juventus

This goal should technically be credited to numerous players, but Ivan Rakitic gets the glory for his opener during the Champions League final against Juventus.

The Barcelona midfielder was the recipient of a mouth-watering passing sequence that shredded the Juve defence and saw a final pass connect with Rakitic for the close-range finish.

3. Aaron Ramsey vs. Galatasaray

Aaron Ramsey's goal against Galatasaray in the group stage is the definition of a screamer.

Adding to the degree of difficulty was the Arsenal midfielder's ability execute a perfect strike with his weaker foot.

Victory already looked like a certainty with a two-goal advantage, but Ramsey crushed the spirits of the Turkish crowd when a clearance attempt fell to him and he unleashed a lethal strike into the top corner of goal.

2. Lionel Messi vs. Bayern Munich

What Lionel Messi did to Bayern Munich defender Jerome Boateng should be considered a crime.

The Barcelona forward inspired meme after meme when his superb ball control and ability to change his pace in the blink of an eye resulted in Boateng hitting the deck.

Messi wasn't finished tormenting the German champs as he followed the ridiculous dribble into the box with an audacious chip over arguably the best 'keeper in the world, Manuel Neuer.

1. Luis Suarez vs. Paris Saint-Germain

Speaking of tormenting defenders, Messi's teammate Luis Suarez put on his own soul-crushing display in the semifinals against Paris Saint-Germain and Brazilian defender David Luiz.

Only this time, the opposing defender suffered two embarrassing nutmegs, which almost broke the Internet.

After blowing by Luiz and showing terrific strength to get past two defenders to double Barca's lead in the first leg, Suarez pulled off another devastating nutmeg 12 minutes later on Luiz to send himself through on goal before smashing in a beautiful curling shot.
