With most of the MMA community poised to write a touching career obituary for "Hendo," the 44-year-old legend turned in a vintage performance, putting Boetsch on roller skates with a dynamite-packed right hand, before sending "The Barbarian" on a violent, unscheduled trip to the mat with a gargantuan uppercut.
From there, Henderson unloaded with vicious right hands until referee John McCarthy dove in for the save at 0:28 of the opening stanza.
To quote Henderson's old Team Quest stablemate, Randy Couture: "Not bad for an old man."
